Motor Fleet Insurance is available to companies wishing to insure their company vehicles under a single policy & falls into 2 basic categories: Small Fleet (or Mini Fleet) which can be anything from 2 vehicles upwards & Standard Fleet which generally starts at 5 or more vehicles.
This type of policy is mainly aimed at simpler, though not necessarily smaller, property-based risks such as shops, offices, restaurants/takeaways, pubs, hotels, doctors/dentists and the like although a few insurers have introduced a similar product for smaller Commercial Combined-type risks. A Property Owners Insurance Policy is primarily designed to cover let properties, though can also include land. The properties that can be insured range from single ‘buy-to-let’ type residential properties and small retail units to large industrial units and portfolios of properties.
As the name suggests Motor Trade Combined Insurance is designed for motor traders who operate from commercial premises. This can include new or used car dealers operating from either a showroom or a lot, mechanical workshops & MOT centres, paint/body shops & tyre or exhaust fitters.
